Hi, I’m Kali (she/her). I'm the “kalioke” singing, joy in movement loving owner of Kalioke Movement Lounge in Burlington, Iowa. I truly believe that the least interesting thing about us is the size of our bodies, and I pride myself in offering body inclusive, fat-positive group fitness classes that focus on the joy of movement and connection to self. You have my word that I’ll never discuss diets, weight loss, body size, measurements, calories, etc.

As a trauma informed yoga instructor who has studied anxiety, eating disorders, body image and compulsive exercise, I understand how important it is to create a space where people feel safe, and I specialize in somatic practices intended to re-establish safety in the body.

I am the creator of the (Re)Connect series which helps clients who are struggling with anxiety learn about their nervous system and tools to support it; and an iMove facilitator helping individuals struggling with compulsive exercise heal their relationship with movement.
